This piece is based very loosely on Liverwort, which is not a lichen at all. The long flat ‘leaves’ of liverwort move irregularly in the wind and can resemble a psychedelic tumbleweed of sorts. The array of light greens and blues are surprisingly bright and lush against the dark greens and browns of the forest.
